Pregnancy Care

Complete, continuous maternity support in one place, at your pace

Pregnancy care works best when it feels coordinated, calm, and centred on you. At Albert Road General Practice, we provide an integrated model that brings together GP pregnancy care, midwifery support, and allied health services in one location.

We work alongside your public hospital, private obstetrician, or shared care program. Our role is to add support, fill care gaps, and provide continuity so you never feel rushed, lost, or unsure about what comes next.

No juggling multiple providers. No fragmented information. Just care that feels connected, thoughtful, and genuinely supportive.

How Our Pregnancy Care Model Supports You

Your care is shared across a coordinated team, giving you access to everything you need throughout pregnancy:

  • GP Care — medical assessments, pathology, prescriptions, monitoring, and ongoing pregnancy management
  • Midwifery Support — clinical checks, pathology, prescriptions, reassurance, education, continuity, and guidance between hospital or obstetric appointments
  • Allied Health — pelvic health, physical preparation, recovery planning, and hands‑on support

You can book appointments whenever you need them. There is no fixed schedule. Your care is shaped around your pregnancy, your preferences, and your existing public or private care pathway.

Your Pregnancy, Your Pace

Every pregnancy is different. Some women prefer regular weekly check‑ins. Others feel comfortable with fewer visits. There is no single correct number of appointments.

Our priority is simple. That you and your baby feel well, supported, informed, and confident at every stage of your pregnancy, whether you are birthing in the public system or under private obstetric care.
