About the practice & opportunity
Our privately billing GP practice is based in South Melbourne, with a client base of children, young families, working professionals, older adults and a developing range of complementary services including anti-natal and skin clinics.
As well as an emphasis on quality primary care provision, we actively support the doctors who work with us to pursue and develop complementary areas of interest.
Our clinic has a great atmosphere – both for those who work with us and for our patients, who regularly comment on how calm it is and how at ease they feel when they come in. Our admin team goes the extra mile to make patient’s feel comfortable and enjoys interacting with young patients and seeing them grow up.
Plus, we have a strong emphasis on great administrative and clinical support, enabling clinicians to focus on what they do best!
We’re currently looking for a GP who has a strong interest in antenatal and paediatric care.
We have a number of expectant mothers, who appreciate our thorough care with unique resources provided by the practice to make their journey easier and less confusing. Shared Care with the Royal Women’s Hospital is preferable.
Our paediatric patient base is extensive and ranges from 6 week checks all the way through to complex care. We have become known in our community as the go-to provider for children’s GP care. In other cases, patients travel hours to come to us because they know that we can provide a reliable second opinion and management plan.
This is you
You’re someone who likes working alongside other passionate clinicians, including GPs, nurses and a growing range of allied health professionals.
You’re striving for patient-centred care, and empowering individuals to be active participants in their healthcare decisions. You’re also interested in the wider community, and supporting health initiatives, activities and education.
Of course you’ll be AHPRA registered, have professional indemnity insurance, a Working With Children Check, and full Australian working rights.
You’re a team player, excellent communicator and work effectively with both clinical and admin colleagues.
